It's pretty simple. They're surrounded by yes-men and enablers, coddled, and given practically everything they want from the time they're teenagers, and after a while they naturally come to believe that they can do anything they want to, when they want to.
Big-time athletes, movie stars, and pop artists are America's version of royalty.
