Is Hawaii self-conscious about its unusual "certification of live birth" document because of attention focused on it over questions about Barack Obama's eligibility for the presidency?
The state, which had excluded the controversial document as proof of native Hawaiian status, has changed its policy and now makes a point of including it stating in its qualifications that they are now accepted "because they are official government records documenting an individual's birth."
It was just one month ago that WND pointed out that the document Barack Obama has released as proof of a Hawaiian birth was not accepted by the Hawaiian Home Lands program, presumably because it was not a reliable test of an actual Hawaiian birth.
Want to turn up the pressure to learn the facts? Get your signs and postcards asking for the president's birth certificate documentation here.
Sometime in the last 30 days that policy changed without fanfare amid increasing scrutiny by WND of the "certification of live birth."

Now Hawaii is ditching its restrictions on that useless COLB to not embarrass the faux president with the fake COLB.
So, with this elevation of the COLB status, are they officially declaring, beyond a shadow of a doubt, that -8bama was in fact, born? Some people might consider it a leap... but I’ll accept it. He was born.
Il Duce is inconvenienced by certain rules of the state of Hawaii. Therefore, the rules must change.
Lemmie guess - a racist land program where you have to prove ancestry and that you have the right blood and skin pigmint.
I wholeheartedly recommend referring to the One in the vernacular of the day, eg, -8bama for today. It would seem to me a most beneficial way of dating a post. As I lose track of the day of the week, or month, or perhaps what year it is... I’ll always know when -2bama did what, versus when -3bama did something else, versus -5bama... and now -8bama. Excellent way to pinpoint the day of ANY particular post.
It has been pointed out ever since the COLB was posted on the Internet!
So does this mean Obama’s sister, who was born in Indonesia and has a Hawaiian COLB can now:
1. claim she was born in Hawaii,
2. assert she is a US citizen from birth
3. register to vote based on her COLB
Yes, I know. that is the habit of WND. taking credit duie to bloggers and FR.
“Blut und Boden”;”Blood and Soil”..The Ebonite ‘Bamafuhrer commands it!
Most freepers on the COLB threads have known about this since last year.

Bingo:

No, they just don't accept it as proof of Hawaiian ancestry.
There never were any restrictions on the COLB. The Dept. of Homelands had simply earily said it preferred the long-form birth certificate because it had informtion on it that was useful in verifying Hawaiian ancestry. The COLB was always accepted as proof of Hawaii birth. However, that's not enough to get a homestead in Hawaii. You have to prove you have Hawaiian ancestry. It's a disgusting racist program, to be sure, but it is what it is. If you had actually read the Dept. of Homelands website for yourself you would have known that.
The Dept. of Homelands recently removed all references to the long-form birth certificate because Hawaii stopped issuing them. Today, the only copy you can get from the state is the same COLB that Obama posted on the web. Again, if you had actually read the Dept. of Homelands website for yourself, instead of relying worthless sources like WorldNutDaily, you would know that.

2. assert she is a US citizen from birth

No, because if she has one, it will list Indonesia as her birthplace.
OK. Now you wanna tell me why we haven’t seen his birth certificate yet???
The COLB he posted on the internet is the only copy of a birth record that the state of Hawaii provides to its citizens today.
Like many people, he probably does not have a copy of the original one, with the hospital and attending physician, that was given to his parents when he was born. I certainly don't have mine.
He wrote that he was had one in his book “Dreams From My Father”, The head of the Hawaii Health Services said that they had his BC on file “in accordance with our rules and procedures.”
