If you mean the town of Ennis I think you will find it’s only half an hour from Shannon airport but if you’re flying into Dublin it’s still only about a hundred and fifty miles away and accessible by train or road.

Nowhere in Ireland is “a long way from” anywhere, the entire country could easily fit inside many US states.

Actually, distance in Ireland is not measured in miles. Instead, it’s measured in pubs, which gives some indication of how many stops you’ll have to make and how long a trip may take.
