Actually, the way "jig" is used by the poster has its' roots in Irish folklore as in "dancing a jig". When the dancing is done, "the jig is up".

Appears you have attempted to play a race card, erroneously, and it identifies you as the racist.

Thanks for clearing that up - it was quite the stretch to try and turn “jig”, as used by the poster, into “jigaboo”.

The ploy works sometimes. Take a perfectly good word or phrase and out of ignorance accuse the other person of racism.

Remember the poor guy who happened to use the word niggardly. Didn't he lose his job? Similarly, tar-and-feather, was not recognized as pre-Revolutionary War and instead assumed to apply to some apocryphal black torture. Little Black Sambo is no longer about a little boy from India. Lynching and nooses are racist because only blacks were ever hanged.

The rule is: Just make up history and the meaning of words as you go along.
