CNN has deals with news channels all over the world to provide footage.

Fox News Channel takes the night off

I have no respect for anyone that visits or does business with a rag head and if they get killed by doing so, so what.

So then it shouldn’t matter to you even if Americans doing business with “ragheads “ in the US are killed here by them? And FoxNews should go on with its regular programming?

hannity's strong point is that he HAMMERS a point incessantly. Its good for getting the word out, but I just can't listen to him anymore. Any random listen to his radio show will guarantee this:

"Quick break right back 3 hours a day every day dick morris newt gingrich Great American".

he wears me out.

Sooner or later the guy who sweeps the floor might throw up a live feed or a pic and a phone conversation.

Well said. Exactly my feelings about FNC. I hate CNN, but they do seem to have a more nimble news gathering staff.

I just know Greta will go chasing the next sensational murdered babe story instead of covering Obama flushing this nation down the toilet.

I don’t have cable anymore, but when I did, I was always astounded how Fox stuck with the old “give us eleven minutes, and we’ll give you the world” model. Their daytime programming seems to cover about four stories at a time, over and over and over, in a cycle of about ten minutes.

If I were in charge, they would cover a hundred stories in an hour, and give good weblinks for more information on each story.

"Maybe CNN staff are the terrorists who did the bombing."

LOL!!! I like your mind set. Thats what Chaney should respond to Congress. "We can't tell you guys much because we are sure a number of you are enemy agents." Funny how much of what Joe McCarthy said is now discovered to be true.

CNN has been around a lot longer and has built up an international organization, FNC is newer and hasn’t expanded as much outside the U.S. as of yet.

Isn’t Fox News linked to SkyNews?

Why is that only CNN is able to immediately bring video footage of internationally occurring events?

Because CNN has been known to ACTIVELY work with the terrorists to document their actions.

That may be, but they still don’t have the overseas network that CNN has. CNN’s coverage of international events is also pretty weak in reality; beyond the unusually sensational terror strike they don’t cover much of anything.

Check the ratings tommorow. Fox replays will beat CNN.

A couple bombs go off in a muslim country and that’s big news?

What I do know is there has been an investment of $250 million dollars in remote parts of the world to transfer technology so if breaking news does happen they will be able to have connections lined up. Fox has an international agreement with SKY News so don’t look for an international base just yet...mainly because they air American Fox as it is...they are trying to buy up blocks and contracts that are coming up or being set up for the future in hotels, ships, airlines, airports, bus stations, train stations etc...it is very very tedious and hard work when you have rights on the cheap for something like Headline News HLN to air at half the price.

Their internals are estimating a big global pick up by 2013 however which means we will more than likely be seeing more changes to the network in the next 2 years...as a matter of fact...we might not even recognize how different they plan to become...in a good way.

CNN has been covering this event ad nauseum. Bombings in Islamic countries is a cultural event and doesn’t warrant this much coverage since the death count is rather low. I’m sure that CNN is simply letting zero know what’s going on in the old neighborhood.

When there are major Islamic terror strikes, I say immediately ditch the O’Reilly tape and other regular programming.

O'Reilly's repeat gets much higher ratings than anything on CNN. I think that FNC made the right decision. I flipped channels a few times and all I saw on CNN was clueless flaming Anderson Cooper showing the same hotel pictures over and over again. No breaking news or information.

CNN is definitely not my favorite, but I have turned to it several times to cover a major story when FOX was following a car chase or the death of some celebrity who I don’t care about.
