Her groups are getting that big, but she already has a official fan site that is closing in on a million.
Definitely Twitter.
how many on there are actually fans or haters in the media and left wing bloggers
I’m already following her bump!
She is getting a new twitter when she leaves office. I don’t know if they are going to transfer the followers or get a whole new account.
Many are frothing at the mouth moonbats.
I don’t understand twitter and I certainly don’t do twitter. When it comes to widespread e-stuff I dallied a bit on yahoo answers and what I post here.
I keep my RL footprint as small as possible.
People who advertise their lives on the interwebz are nuts.
I understand politicians using these technologies — their public footprints are huge anyway. But to tell people “I am at Burger King” is just self-absorption.
Twitter is the most inane thing to happen to Al Gore’s creation in a while. Unless of course you love text messages and really love them when they sound like a fourteen year old girl wrote them. Or if you want to hear every stupid little thought some idiot celebrity has.
Forgot the comma......
I’m already following her, bump!
You can be on it just to follow Sarah. Period.
Just joined....number 106,701 :)
it be interesting to find out , i dunno, setup a poll somehow and ask a general question and see the response e.g do you believe in government run health care
I can do that...
Looking at the feed, I wonder what the point is? I’d vote for the woman but do I really need to see a fifty word update every few hours? Most of them are almost content free and its a terrible medium for political expression.
Here are some from today:
“Riding 2 Kenai;writing last Govs speech on way;country music streaming & countryside screaming inspiration 4 pro-developmnt + pro-enviro msg”
“My hardcore Alaska Grown girl hiking late last night; beautiful Knik Glacier in background @ http://tinyurl.com/ln3gl5"
“knows it’s shameful 4 valuable time& public resources to be diverted frm needed causes to deal w/this abuse of govt accountability system...”
“In violation of Ethics Act more allegations were filed today by serial complainer;gave to press be4 we could respond;ridiculous, wasteful...”
106.723!
I follow Jim Robinson, Jeff Head, Sarah Palin, and two twitterers from Iran.
I have some followers, but I have no idea who they are, nor do I care.
Twitter doesn't have to be about ego.
:-)
Here is more proof of how twitter represents the ultimate dumbing down of political thought from the other day. This is what you’d have learned from nine to noon on the 19th.
“No time to waste: teach US youth to avoid idleness;they can lead new American Industrial Revolution w/WORK & embrace “Buy American” mission”
“Time DOES fly! Work hard so u can genuinely enjoy every recreation minute! Avoid time spent tearing down, whining, complaining;WORK & ENJOY”
“Todd & I r packing JNU house today; looking thru Piper’s kindergarten schoolwork here reminds how quickly X flies;she enters 3rd grd in fall”
“Tourists from across America, here loving their 49th state! I’m reminded: “1 heart, 1 hope, 1 destiny, 1 flag from sea to sea”- K B Sherwood”
“Fascinating talking to JNU’s overwhelmed tourists just tasting a nibble of AK’s bounty, knowing AKns are never bored;so much to do & discover”
“From sealife near lush wet rainforests to energy housed under frozen tundra atop permafrost,God most creatively displays His diversity in AK”
>>Twitter doesn’t have to be about ego.<<
Following famous and interesting people may be the hot ticket. It never occurred to me to follow JR — might be fun.
And I do have admit Twitter was a portal for Iran — until MJ’s silly passing took over all the bandwidth on every communication channel.
Which clearly points out its downside.
Nice!
