Well, here goes nothin. I picked a 5 gal. pail of green beans this morning. Saved out some for a friend and have my 1st batch ever in my new canner. Also, sliced some zukes and have them on my dehydrator. My son didn’t have to work today so he was here to help. (I think he actually likes to do this kind of stuff or at least is interested in seeing how it works). He’s in there watching the pressure go up on the canner. I’ll report back tomorrow and let you know if I was successful or not.

You’re doing great! A 5 gallon bucket of beans is a LOT of beans, LOL! I’m avoiding picking mine; I will hoe all day but I HATE picking beans. Go figure! :)

LOL - I’ll skip all the questions, because I know you followed the recipe...

By now they should be all processed, have pulled a vacuum and pinged the lids...

See, it wasn’t so hard was it...
