I'm not taking a position one way or the other, I have been watching the "Birther" controversy with interest.
In answering my question, please go further than the obvious, in other words what would be the outfall and how would you handle the eventual constitutional crisis? Would Biden become prez? If he is no longer viable, would it then fall to Pelosi?
I'm asking the birther supporters to think long range about this.
Follow the Constitution, and the law.

No - re-do the last election. Why? Because we knew about the potential (and high probability) 0 was NOT born in the U.S. LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG before last November's election. It's not like 0 not being a U.S. citizen is breaking news or something, though to many it is, unfortunately.
Have a do-over with Hillary Clinton and Sarah Palin. It would be very close, but hopefully Palin would prevail.

Exactly. This has NOTHING to do with politics and EVERYTHING to do with the CONSTITUTION.
To your point: If Obama is not qualified to be president, and if an attempt is made to remove him, it will probably result in serious urban riots. It may be our first failure at an orderly change in government. That would be my expectation.
But what would be worse would be a failure to remove Obama. That would really send a clear signal that the Constitution is a dead letter. Then, it would be very hard to hide the fact that we have become mere serfs, ruled by a political elite. At that point, I guess we just suck it up, right?
This matters not. The constitution will take care of this.

That being said, this issue is begging for a SCOTUS ruling. Only their decision will suffice for me.
You would be happier as a Democrat.
The Supreme Court would declare him inelligible for the presidency ... he would turn the White House over to Biden. I imagine some prosecutor somewhere would indict him and his followers - this is a serious crime.
Several of his inner city followers would riot and be supressed by the police and, if necessary, armed citizens.

This scandal has been referred to as Certificate and several other names long before the far left “Birther” meme appeared. Yet you chose to adopt that rendering. Much like so called conservatives who refer to pro life people as “Anti-Abortionists”
