Good Morning, jaycee

Thank you... I love to post flowers!
Lovely colors, unusual Geranium. Since I joined the
internet age..I have learned there are so many different
kinds and colors of geraniums.
There is much to see and learn about.
Wishing you a blessed Lord's Day

I saw geraniums that were so beautiful that I have never laid eyes on. They must be available in certain areas of the United States because they are never for sale here! Or I would surely try them!

I have, too...I did see some single flower geraniums beside a historic home here...They are not so showy as the big ball of blooms that I am accustomed to..but the colors and “designs” on the petals were lovely.

REST IN PEACE, FALLEN BROTHER!

Capt. Michael Scott Speicher, USN, KIA 17JAN1991

I have fought a good fight,
I have finished my course,
I have kept the faith.
2 Timothy 4:7 (KJV)

Eternal Father, Strong to Save

Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in peace!
We who remain hold you in high honor.
Rest, fallen brother, in this sacred precinct;
We who remain keep this place sacred.
Rest, fallen brother, among these, your comrades;
We who remain keep the watch.
Rest, fallen brother, amid these who heeded the Nation’s call;
We who remain press the fight forward in your name.
Rest, fallen brother, lay down thy burden;
We who remain have taken up the torch.
Rest in Peace, fallen brother, rest in eternal peace!

All your flowers are so beautiful, today, Meg!

After all the comments about geraniums this morning, I had to go visit Mr. “G”. There, I found so MANY varieties - but for some reason, the Appleblossom Rosebud kept showing up.

Funny thing about these flowers - they can be unrecognizable as geraniums.....where a daisy looks like a daisy, a rose like a rose, a lily like a lily - no matter what the given name is. But, not geraniums. Looking at some, I would never have guessed that they were “Pelargoniums”.

Endless is right! That’s quite a link you found, thank you! It says the butterfly stands for everything (good luck, bad luck, no luck) except what I’m trying to confirm!

I know it is true that putting a butterfly on your house means or meant the mortgage is paid off. Maybe it’s a regional thing or an ethnic thing. I’m not sure I’ll be able to let go of this till I get a clue. We’re paying off our house this month.
