I agree on the "Ugh!" if it was made during the Nazi era, but it was equally-likely early post-war. And though it might have been made in Germany, it did not have any German diacritical marks (as does the one in the wiki photo), so it must have been manufactured for export.

Besides, I cannot say for sure that ours was an Olympia. But ours did have number keys like this Olympia at eBay.

You've got me curious now. I just asked the seller: "Looks like one that our family had when I was a kid. Question: Are the Z and Y really switched around on the whole machine, or are the keyboard keys in the wrong spots?"
