The Lake Worth monster was a gentleman I worked with for many years at General Dynamics/ Lockheed Martin named Randy Reynolds. Randy was about 6 ft.8 and weighed about 350 or so. He told me that it began as a halloween prank to scare the follks in a “lover’s lane” area near Greer Island. Randy played football for Lake Worth High in the sixties, and was a man of his word. I have no doubt he told the truth when he relayed this tale to me. Randy passed away about two years ago, so no doubt the truth went to the grave with him.
