So an old white guy decides to go for a walk. Wanders into a predominantly minority neighborhood. The police stop him and demand his papers. He can't produce his ID so they put him in the squad car and take him back to his hotel and have someone vouch for him.

Too bad he wasn't an illegal alien. They wouldn't have hassled him at all.

Most likely half the folks living in that “ latin quarter “ WERE illegals !

From what I read, the police stopped him because it’s a Latino area and someone who lives there called and said there was a suspicious looking man in the neighborhood.

Now, was that racial profiling?

I dont know but I cant rule it out.
