I think they mean John Boehner I have no idea who the frog face is, but they really need to look at Pelosi and Waxman, he looks like a rodent

Just dumping the public option won't work. They are going to have to kill the whole bill. Do you really think that once they pass a house bill and a senate bill that they won't put the public option and death panels right back into the bill when it is committee? We don't need government in our health care system. There is a reason 70% of CA voters opted out medicaid(we do have medical but it is only for people with extremely low incomes and usually only used for children of welfare recipients.)
But Obama doesn't run things. He wasn't in the Senate long enough to understand how the Hill works. Congresscritters are survivalists first. They won't vote for anything that will endanger their cushy seats or their precious majority.
Rahm understands how things work in Washington. He knows when the battle can't be won outright. He will give up enough to let the Republicans claim victory and still move the ball a fair ways towards the ultimate goal. Obama knows he can't run things without Rahm and the others. He'll defer to his handlers.
I expect health care to drop to the back burner as soon as congress gets back in session and the townhalls end. Then some weak compromise bill will get passed as quietly as possible. All the talking heads will move on to the Next Big Thing.
And the DUmmies will serve up another kool aide kegger and dance naked around their Obama Idol once again.
The funny thing about reading DU is that I agree with many of their posts..but for totally different reasons.

Nope. You are only racist if you criticize Our Glorious Leader from the right, not if you criticize him from the left.
Hell, if you are on the left you can say anything about anyone and never worry about being labeled a racist. In fact, if you call a leftist a racist you are engaging in hate speech.

I remember when everyone was sure that Clinton could not possibly be re-elected in 1996. Never underestimate the ability of the Republicans to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
Can't argue with that. My credentials as a Zulu witch doctor are better that McConnell's are as a conservative leader.
