If I had to classify myself, I’d say libertarian/conservative. I’m for small government, fiscal responsibility, low taxes, ethics, the rights and dignity of the individual, capitalism and freedom. I’m a devout Christian and believe in the Constitution, but don’t expect or necessarily want everyone to think the same way that I do. I also believe that we only have one planet, and that there’s nowhere else to go, so we better learn to cooperate and take care of what we’ve got.

I consider myself an evolving realist in that I am fully cognizant that there is a lot of evil in this world and that we must recognize and confront this reality for our survival. I think that life is a dichotomy of both simplicity and complexity. The basics are amazingly simple, but people are complex and it is a constant learning process to assimilate and attempt to understand the two./end soapbox Oh, and a sense of humour is essential, just in case we begin to take ourselves too seriously.:)
