I’ve been a fan of Nora’s for a long time. She’s awesome, and she really does play the piano, folks! Check her out!

She could get a job at Nordstrom’s.

That’s awesome. Cats are really intelligent. I love mine. She can speak on command. Only cat I ever had that would do that trick, although I did manage to successfully teach a previous cat to turn doorknobs.

My luck the only time my cat would play the piano would be at 3 AM.

Her playing reminds me of some of the “avant garde” music I’ve heard. Only better.

This is just like Michael Jackson’s father. This cat is missing her childhood.

The self-conscious but affectionate facial expressions are priceless -- I love how she purr-talks, too. I had one like that. Thanks for posting!

Many cats are wonderfully intelligent, especially those who grow up well-nourished in loving homes that respect their unique abilities. Mine could not talk, but she could understand easily 65 words or phrases, so we could tell her what was happening and she could register her preferences where appropriate. She never indulged in vengeful behavior like previous cats had done when left alone for the weekend, because we "explained" it all ahead of time, and that we would be back, who would come to feed her, etc.

I've never figured out if these two books are genuine, or really good put-ons, but they've both given us a lot of enjoyment:

Barnes and Noble: Why Cats Paint: A Theory of Feline Aesthetics

Chronicle Books: Dancing With Cats
