TIMPSON, TX (KTRE) - Robert L. Osby, 20, was arrested at 3:05 p.m. Friday by Timpson Police in connection with an accidental shooting involving a toddler.
According to Police Chief Hilton Poindexter, Osby is charged with injury to a child, a second degree felony.
On August 4, a two-year-old toddler apparently shot another toddler on Neal Street in Timpson.
Chief Poindexter said after an investigation, police were able to determine Osby owned the 22-caliber pistol that was left in the bedroom where the children were playing.
Chief Poindexter said the child was released from the hosptial and is doing well.
