Didn’t he just finish wiping his eyes from his latest retirement cry?

This guy is peeing his legacy down the drain.

I think I’m starting to hate him. And not in a fun, sports-rival sort of way. I mean I bear him personal malice.

*shakeshead*

Sorry to say it but Favre does not know whether he is coming or going, literally. Nearly makes John ‘Flip-flop’ Kerry look amateurish in comparison.

Farve, needs a challenge or he will revert to pain killers and alcohol. This is not a man feeding his ego, he is just lost.

I don't hold anything against him, personally . . . but the sports-announcers who fawn over him? Definitely.

He needs to find a challenge off the field. There are plenty of ex-jocks who’ve done that.

Stay in or get out, Brett. The soap opera is a bit pathetic.

Don’t believe it. This is just something Rahm Emmanuel recommended to the NFL Commish to take our attention away from the anger of Michael Vick.

Favre should have just taken his millions, his personal and professional fame, got himself a nice gig on one of the Sunday NFL shows, chuckled it up with his fellow retired peers, and he might eventually have been as entertaining as Terry Bradshaw.

FYI, Joe Montana said earlier this month that "If I could run to my front door, I'd try to take Brett's place", speaking of the outrageous salaries being paid in the NFL since he left the game.

But even so, Joe knew when to retire.

His new team mates sure have to be encouraged with his work ethic.... Pretend to not want to come back until training camp breaks and he doesn’t need to do two-a-days or live in the dorms.

We’ll be able to pay for our season tickets (if they’re both in it maybe 2 seasons!) with that game in Lambeau!!!!!!

Welcome back Brett....now Minnesota can suffer through the what should have beens late in the season. I’d lay a lot of money on the Bears in Chicago on Dec 28th!!!!!

word is that he absolutely did not want to go thru training camp again.

with the jets he needed too. but the vikings have a system so close to the packers, favre will step right in and know the system.

this was a set-up from the beginning. it was all about training camp.

I actually believe it is his ego. He is emotionally stunted. All of his life he’s been the greatest, from the time he was a kid. He’s had adoration for every and anything he does, heaped upon him and simply cannot live without it. His emotional well being depends on playing good football and being loved for it. Even when he is giving a bad or mediocre performance, he was stroked, and made to think he could lead the team to the promised land. Personally I think Ted Thompson is a moron, should have signed whoever Favre wanted (Moss) and stroked him like the previous administration letting him play until he died on the field. This guy is going to do this to piss off those that turned their back on him until they or he dies.

Me too. As a Packers fan, I am SO GLAD they told him he was unwelcome here a year ago. Enough already!
