I’m going to need a bigger grill!
If I wanted to see a chicken who turned into a dinosaur, I’d go hear Bill Clinton speak.
But, if you insist, all mammals have the same genes, all birds have the same genes, there are differences. There are some differences in the number of genes ~ but the big differences arise from methylation ~ it can turn on, or turn off, whole banks of genes.
We don't know yet all the causes of methylation, or who/what/which/where controls it. Maybe there's a super computer in your genome somewhere and it does the deed ~
The basic idea is that we are all made out of the same stuff, but there are differences. That's why your liver will taste just like a chicken liver, but the gizzard is gonna' be different ~ 'cause you don't have one!
“Yeah, ooh, aah, that’s how it always starts. Later comes the running and the screaming.”
Hold muh beer whilst I chop the head off this here pullet fer dinner...
“If I weren’t gay I would load my 8 gauge with big bird shot and shoot that freakish yellow thing.
But I am. So I can’t. It was seeing Renee without makeup. I started wearing an onion on my belt, one thing led to another ....”

Lots of fun sci-fi movies start off that way...
Your tax dollars at work?
What does dinosaur taste like?
I must return to my experrrriments - /evil laugh.
The latest project is inserting chicken genes into a millipede so dozens of drumsticks can be produced from one bird, according to the KFC Center for Dino Deep Frying.

Nothing. We've taken every possible precaution. The viewing area below us will have eight-inch tempered glass set in reinforced steel frames; the outdoor pens are surrounded by electrified wire charged to 10,000 volts; and population control is one of our security precautions here. There is no unauthorized breeding. Finally, we have the whole park managed by one series of redundant computers. Here, meet our Chief Developer....

"I was watching the London Marathon and saw one runner dressed as a chicken and another runner dressed as an egg. I thought: 'This could be interesting'." -- Paddy Lennox |
