I was really surprised about my daughters vitamin D defiency because we live in California.
At school, the kids eat lunch and have PE outside every day. In the summer, we have a pool, so they are outside a lot then.
We’re supplementing my daughter with 1000 IUs of vitamin D, and she is still low.
I do know that the medication she is on is stripping her of it, but it’s stripping a lot of it.
