It was a severe disappointment to read CAL THOMAS’ column in today’s newspaper. Why do all these denizens of DC feel compelled to go all mushy and swooney over the passing of some blasted old commie-lib?!

Cal waxed nostalgic about Teddy’s ability to befriend Republicans and right-wing politicians in order to get them to support something he wanted to accomplish. Isn’t that swell?! Cal thinks Ted’s ability to pick someone’s pocket or roll some “drunk” is something to be admired!

Cal also blubbered a while about how Teddy was NEVER mean or cruel to anyone. What mindless drivel! Cal might want to run that one past Robert Bork or Clarence Thomas! He might also want to meditate and pray a couple of hours over the, how many.......60 million(?) innocent babies that have been destroyed on Teddy’s watch, and with his emphatic approval!

“Cal also blubbered a while about how Teddy was NEVER mean or cruel to anyone”

Cal, who is usually much more on top of his game, blew it on that one. Kennedy repeatedly stabbed Bush43 in the back at every turn, after Bush had worked with him on an education bill. Josef Stalin and Saddam Hussein could smile and pat people on the back too, but that didn’t make them good people.

Anything and everything about Kennedy’s existence was centered on partisan politics. Nothing he ever said or did came to pass without his weighing the political merits of it. That he allowed MJ Kopechne to suffocate in that overturned car while he went back and slept that night tells me the man had merely a black void where a soul normally would reside. How about those murdered 50-60 million infants on his watch? Would THEY countenance Cal’s assertions about Kennedy?

Ted Kennedy was an evil, soulless, cold, calculating and murderous monster. He should’ve taken his last breath in a prison cell or in an execution chamber, not in the comforts of his home. But at least I can take solace in the fact the world is a better place without him.

Justice has finally come to him... finally.
