Absolute nonsense. The burros of Oatman are more like pets that the town residents take care of. They've even named them.
After a recent visit, I can tell you the Burros seem healthy and happy. Not to mention that if the BLM is successful in driving the burros away from Oatman, the town would more then likely die.
