LoL! That “mesh” is plastic on most microwaves these days. It doesn’t keep nothing “in”. The “microwave” produced by the microwave oven only covers a tiny area within the cooking area. On real cheap ones it doesn’t even cover the cooking area, which is why they have a rotating table so things cook more evenly.

I prefer to prepare for zombies. Much more guns that way. After all, we can't prepare for ALL the apocalypses so why not pick the ones that would be more fun.
