A few minutes ago Obama stated that he wants to mandate health insurance. This isn't what he was saying a few years back. The youtube clip I've linked to is part of and old ad that clearly shows him taking a different view than he does now.
The clip states it is from a November 24, 2007 Town Hall meeting. Could this be used against him?

It is a red herring to say you can keep your insurance if government policy is to force insurers to cancel your policy.
Forcing a mandated government insurance on any US citizen is unconstitutional.
The whole idea of our Constitution is to promote freedom and liberty which includes freedom and liberty FROM government.
Taking away an individual’s decision to decide yea or nay on any given subject is tantamount to dictatorship and tyranny and therefore unconstitutional.
I don’t have health insurance. I don’t think I have ever had health insurance. I cannot afford health insurance anyway, but I see it as money down a hole. I don’t want health insurance. I certainly don’t want the government to force someone else to pay for my insurance (or force me to pay for it). Resident Soetoro wants to force insurance on me? No sir. This far and no further.
All I have is my liberty. So stuff it, Obamarx.
The Resident made this point most emphatically, doing people like myself a great favor, tonight, in attempting to clarify what has become, for many of us, the heart of this, our first look, at "his plan."
Lawful Citizenship in the United State being dependent on having paid an insurance premium?
Meanwhile, at least nine million illegal aliens suing because they were asked for proof of insurance at check-in at an Emergency Room?
Will I cease being a lawful citizen if I refuse to purchase insurance? What if I drop my insurance to make a political statement... is that protected Free Speech, an inalienable right, only if I am an Illegal Alien?
The Resident compared this Manditory Premium to a state-issued drivers license...
Am I the only one confused, here?
