I really do hope it breaks the uncounted record of over 1 million set by Stand In The Gap!
Don’t forget planes, trains and automobiles.
Those are just the ones you know about.
My son and I are on one of two buses from Greeneville TN
I can’t go but I did put 10 of my last 11 dollars in the tank to go to the local tea party. I then put my last dollar in the pot for the tea party express.
BTW another FReeper read my earlier comment about using my last money to go to a tea party and wrote to ask if I needed help. I didn’t but I think we should all know what great people FReepers are.
I was thinking that Obama would give some incredible speech, unify the reform effort, and be hailed a hero after this much awaited speech. then no one would show up.
Since he blew it big time, I think there will be 100’s of thousands. I can’t wait to see what happens next. The powers that be are going to be very surprised. I wonder how the MSM is going to avoid reporting this.
My son and I want to go, but have very limited time.
We are considering driving to DC Friday night, joining the parade, then returning home to upstate SC.
Could anyone tell me the best way to get to the parade starting point? Would there be sufficient parking close or is there parking at a point outside the city that would allow us to ride public transportation in?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
IndyPatriot is driving out from Indianapolis tomorrow with a carfull. See you there. And for those of you staying at the Sheraton, I’ll be the one with the Colts cap in the bar.
Yeah! Good for all of us even those who can’t be there, go tell show them what real Americans feel and who we are.
I hope someone is lined up to do some aerial photography so we can accurately estimate crowd size.
I really, really hope that this thing is HUGE.
I wonder if the State Run Media will cover it?
Any projected/predicted numbers?
I messed up and waited to late to get a bus so we are going to drive.
No matter..........I’m going to drive, walk,crawl,limp....but I WILL be there.
bttt!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
okay. charter buses can seat 47 to 57 people. one bus from each location would look something like:
187 X 47 =8789
187 X 57 =10,659
now we have to factor in how many buses will leave from these locations. for example: your location will have 5 or 6 buses.
5 X 47 =235
5 X 57 =285
6 X 47 =282
6 X 57 =342
so for the sake of guesswork, we will presume 1 or 2 buses (average) from each location. then we will use 52 passengers as the average capacity.
187 X 52 =9724 for 1 bus per location.
374 X 52 =19,448 for 2 buses per location.
we round those figures up to account for any variants. it is safe to say that between 10,000 and 20,000 people will be arriving in D.C. by bus for the protest.
Do you think the MSM will cover it? I have my doubts. :)
