I can understand that, and maybe there are truck drivers who would accept, but not the majority. She thought this one looked like a pervert?

When I read the story...it seemed like she was selling the kid for good for $10 and not selling as in 'renting'...however, it seemed more likely that she would have been 'renting' him out to get never-ending gas money ;) Either way....this poor child has a monster rather than a mother....
