BASEBALL PING LIST If you would like to be on the ping list let me know.
This will be a medium volume ping list during the baseball season and a low volume ping list when all life stops in late October.

As a former Metro Detroiter I have to root for my Detroit Tigers to hold off the Minnesota Twins and clinch the AL Central — the first divisional title since 1987. With 28% unemployment in Detroit, 15% statewide and a lib Canadian governor who has ruined the state, I guess my fellow Detroiters and Michiganders need something to cheer about. Go Tigers!!!!!!

I hope the Yankees get eliminated in the first round.

Your right. Anything can happen.
I like the Yankees odds with CC, Burnett and Andy in round one of the playoffs.
GO YANKS!

Hard to argue with the Cardinals and Yankees as the favorites, but they shouldn’t look past the Phillies or Red Sox, respectively. If the Phillies match up very well against the Cardinals as long as they can clean up the confusion in their bullpen, and the Red Sox have a definite edge in pitching over the Yankees.

The Yanks win 100, lock up both the division and the home field advantage, and tie the season series with the Red Sox at 9 games apiece after losing their first 8 games. Great day to be a Yankee fan. Now they have almost 2 weeks to rest players. ...a few of whom need it badly (to heal injuries).
I’m hoping for a Yanks v. Red Sox ALCS (revenge for ‘04) and a Yanks v. Dodgers WS (revenge for ‘81). ...with the Yanks winning their 27th WS title.
