Okay, I just got back from the Boise State game and had a few observations:
—This game had the feel of an NFL preseason game. BSU looked very flat and vanilla on both sides of the ball. Not a good thing if you’re trying to prove you belong in something like a BCS title game.
—My brother made a comment to me during the game that every time BSU plays an FCS school later on in the year like this one, it’s always a competitive game. The most recent was their game back in 2005 against Portland State and that game nearly went into overtime.
—The whole game was weird. Fans were booing the offense and complaining about the play calling, the whole tone of the game made it seem like a loss and I guess in a certain sense it was.
Don’t be surprised to see USC and Va Tech jump ahead of Boise State tomorrow in both polls.

Yes - they are completely revamping the entire East Side of the stadium to look like the new West side... it will be beautiful!
I did, aside from the fact it was about 45 degrees out and it rained for about half of the game. The irony was this is the Homecoming game for BSU this year celebrating the “Decade of Dominance” and the performance wasn’t dominant.
Meanwhile up in Moscow, the University of Idaho is playing Colorado State on ESPNU. Blue astroturf and a 15,000 seat dome. Football is just done differently here in Idaho.
But I have to admit, Tennessee's quarterback was horrible. Threw behind the receiver too many times.
5-0 and dang well better be ranked this week, even if short lived for a week or two.
Arkansas next... one game at a time fellows, one game at a time.

There is a little Hamburger Bar in “downtown” Cozumel with football games...all American customers and kinda fun...have a nice time...hope you don’t catch a “Norther”

Thanks for the info Positive :) We ended up just walking around the dock and spending too much on overpriced goodies for the family, lol. There were enough Bama fans on board who had the ability to find out the score. Roll TIDE ROLL! The GA game was on TV!
