The Democrats demagouged the idea so I do not anticipate that anyone will try personal accounts again. Time has expired to fix entitlements. We will unfortunately experience economic shocks because of rat demagougery and senior citizen support for welfare.

Like that is going to happen -- only when the Republicans control the House, the Senate, and the White House.

Oh, wait. They already did. And didn't.

They DID control most of Washington for a decade and they DIDN'T do much regarding Social Security, except to squander their leadership. Bush couldn't even get SS reform done after he won a 2nd term.
