So far I have worked 35 years, but lost my job in the oil and gas industry because of Obama’s preference for imported oil. I hope to work at least 10 more years, when I can find a new job.

Sure don’t hear anything about drilling in this country any longer, do we? Just the same old expensive “reliance on foreign oil” complaint when they could find the solution right here.

Did you happen to see Boxer and Kyl on CNN this morning? Boxer was her normal dumb self. A friend sent an email and said her TV was out and asked if I would watch it for her.

On energy she said that in HER STATE, she is told by venture capitalists that they are eager to invest in energy alternatives - expect to be much more successful in that than in any tech fields do date. Kyl had his say and then John Roberts said that even Jay Rockefeller (a liberal dem) is against Cap & Trade and she said, “Well, Jay’s state is a coal state.” No kidding! It’s ok for WVA to lose jobs but she’s anxious to please the venture capitalists! I was struck by her eagerness to help the “evil” venture capitalists but nothing about the importance of the energy policy to the country.

Last week Kerry said that it needs to stop being called Cap & Trade - “No one knows what that means but it’s not a Cap & Trade bill.” Someone on FR asked if he doesn’t know what a Cap & Trade bill is, how does he know it isn’t? Good point.

Hope you find work soon. It’s brutal out there and it’s not going to be pleasant for a great many people or the country. Think Washington is concerned - Nope! Too bad their priorities are all fouled up.
