I don't think the advocates of the nuclear war in the ancient world say it is due to man on man violence but god on god warfare aka alien warfare using earth as a battleground.

With that said, Graham Hancock and others hold to a theory that mankind 30 to 40 thousand years ago had an advances stone age civilization that was drowned when the ice age melted since the cities were on the now submerged coast and the survivors of the great melt were the more primitive inland dwellers who remember this civilization as Atlantis.

Also, in one of my obscure readings I do recall an episode where in the Roman empire a goblet that had aluminum like qualities was created but it was a one off product.

Something like the events descried in the “Canticle” did happen - in Red China during the Cultural Revolution but even more so during the “Year Zero” of the Khmer Rouge which killed people for wearing glasses because it was a sign they were readers of books.

Residual radiation well above normal background count should last for thousands of years. If it’s not there, it wasn’t nukes.

I can’t argue with that.

They didn’t have a Harry Reid blocking the disposal of spent fuel.

Not too many people know the Washington Monument is capped with aluminium. When it was built, aluminium was the most costly metal.

the idea that Arab tribes actually built an atomic bomb...I’ve been to Babylon - seen the ruins - walked around the old city...I never saw any evidence that a nuke went off there. I’ve been tested by the US Army and VA - no radiation exposure...now biological - that was different...anyway...

It’s an interesting article - but I liken the explosions to metors striking the Earth....look at Mecca - the worship the black Kabaa - it’s noting more than a rock from outer space that the pagans used to pray to the 360 gods (Allah being the prime one) back in the day...those poor bast*rds though that it came from the gods - since it fell from heaven...so - I mean - come on - camel jockey’s possessing nukes...what’s the odds?

fast forward to today//// Iran has a nuke now - and will be using soon...they have come too far to just hope they get it. Russia has helped them hoping that the dumb SOB’s will use it - have US/European powers smash them - and then Russia will move in to claim what is left...they are being used by the Soviet Bear...and the Persians don’t see it because of their hate!

Thanks for the post. Although some of the facts given have ready explanations, the subject merits careful scientific scrutiny. Unfortunately, the implications are so contrary to settled views that peer reviewed funding is unavailable.

Why nuclear war? A solar mass ejection would do the same thing...

Hmmmm, I wonder if the effects of a nuclear explosion can go back in time. Some of those sites sound like ones that will be nuked in the future... ( Works if earth is like the inside of a train...)

When God decides to destroy a city he does not need to use nuclear bombs.

Not to be mean, but if you don’t even know the name of the first book of the Bible, perhaps you shouldn’t be commenting on it.

I watched a documentary about “how the earth was formed” and they spent a lot of time talking about the Libyan fused green glass. They showed pretty conclusive evidence that it was from a meteor. There was rock present with high iron content that wasn’t native to the area and a large impact crater.

The UNDERWORLD thesis of Hancock’s is that during near the end of the Ice Age there arose an advanced stone age coastal civilization - not advanced like they had cars or lasers but advances like the Egyptians and when the great melt happened this far flung coastal civilization/empire was drowned giving rise to the Atlantis myth and other flood myths with the survivors of the coastal flood moving inland to be among the less advanced humans of the inner continents who viewed the more advances coastal dwellers as gods or near gods. What survived are racial memories and some passed down knowledge turned to myth and legends but for the most part real evidence for this civilization is buried under the seas.
