Contrary to reports, MGM has yet to sell the marketing and distribution rights of the James Bond franchise to 20th Century Fox. Claiming to be contacted directly by the studio on the matter, Film School Rejects set the record straight by forwarding MGM's denial that the taking-over story is incorrect.
An official source, as reported by the site, also mentioned the studio still owns the Bond property and will announce the release date and distribution strategy in due time. Another denial came from 20th Century Fox as well. To IGN, sources at Fox slammed the speculation. They also insisted people are making a speculative leap based on Fox's existing arrangement with MGM.

It’s actually an air pistol.
It sure was. Moore looked ancient, Tanya Roberts was the second worst actress to be a Bond girl, ever (an honor now held by Denise Richards) and the story was ridiculous.
I remember going to the theater to see it in '85. My heart sank even before the opening credits when "California Girls" played as Bond snowboarded in Siberia.
Lois Maxwell looked really bad in that movie. She was such a lovely woman.
I think Warhead might have been good with Dalton, although he’s now too old (so is Brosnan), and McClory’s dead, no?
It was the only Bond story McClory had the rights to, so it had to be that way.
yep both McClory and Whittingham died penniless.
