I discovered Penn and Teller (beyond the comedy act) when a friend gave me a dvd of a tv show called Bullsh!t about recycling. I became a huge fan. I’ve watched LOTS of their stuff on Youtube and found, except for our views on Christianity, we are in pretty much complete agreement on every issue the show has ever covered.

BTW, the highly convincing recycling episode has been removed from youtube. You have to go to google video to find it.

Penn Jillette is an amazing person. I met him through The Amazing Randi (who was his mentor in magic) and through the various Skeptic conventions and such. Very very smart and not in anyway a conservative and not in anyway a liberal. His opinions are his own and he admits when he’s wrong or has been wrong.

Me too. I really respect him. I don’t agree with him on everything but almost.

BS is an awe inspiring show. Not for the kiddies, due to rough language, or I’d say it should replace most High School curriculum.
