Chris Matthews refuses hardball question

Many years ago I actually liked the guy, I thought he asked questions that really challenged his guest. In the last few years he has become intellectually lazy, and he just takes a bunch of cheap shots for a little laugh.

That's how I feel about him. Except that I think he intentionally went into the tank and is now being rightfully punished for it by losing ratings and respect.

I used to watch him every day. Now? Never.
