I hope I’m not the first to notice this, but “examiner.com” is not the SF Examiner (sfexaminer.com). Take a look at what’s on their home page, and it all becomes clear.
After a minute of looking into the author’s background, I think it’s quite likely that he wrote this article immediately after smoking a large bag of Hawaiian cheeba.
Also, he cited Richard Hoagland in his article. That’s pretty much a dead giveaway, as Hoagland registers in the negatives on the credibility scale.
