Very primitive compared to what we have now...but it doesn't depend upon the government controlled and monitored Internet

Seems to originate from the UK, but with site in the US.
The UK is getting worse then the US, as in the ban of Michael Savage, so I doubt that they will be of much use.
They are going down the tubes just as fast, if not faster then the USA.
I will start looking here in the Pacific for alternates.
In any emergency, IRC might stay up longer then anything.
It was widely used in GW one.
It is as old as the internet, and I still use it for chat, worldwide.
