Pathetic. The DNC is urging supporters to attack private citizen Sarah Palin on Facebook.

Yeah, sending private nasty private messages to Sarah's FB supporters was one of the trolls favorite tactics there once we started fighting back (with report "bombs" and targeted blockings).

Back in May, the trolls actually hacked my account, hijacked my profile, and started posting garbage. I had to delete that account and then set up a new account under the screen name 'Jonah Hex,' restricted access to it, and went after the trolls with a vengeance.

At the same time, I contacted SarahPAC (which controls the FB site) directly, explained the situation, and asked for a mod, who finally arrived sometime in September. By then though, the big post-July 3 influx of new supporters had crushed most of the nastier trolls, but the new mod laid down some new rules and cleaned out the rest.

Its only going to get worse as the release date for her book approaches. When Sarah starts doing her interviews to promote the book, the only questions she’ll be asked are about the attacks on her.

And she will be up the challenge, parrying the attacks deftly, cleverly, and as is her wont, truthfully.
