Are you closer to Fort Stockton or Amarillo? What's the closest town to you?

I love the pics...'cept for the rattlesnakes!

We're 14 miles South East of where I-20 and US-87 intersect, or 10 miles straight south of Coahoma TX. The big ranch is 32 sections with an adjoining 4 sections to the south divided by County road 821.

We call them Tarantula Hawk's, they sting the spiders which paralyzes them, then drag them to a safe area and dig a hole where they will lay they're egg's on them and then bury them, covering up the hole in a manner where it is indistigwishable to the surrounding terrain.

I should have also said they’re a large black wasp about 2 to 3 inches long.

We go through Roswell all the time on our way to Ruidoso, I kind of like Roswell it reminds me of the way our town used to be before they shut the base down. I miss those day’s, loved hearing the jet’s flying over.

Ruidoso, my wife's family has a cabin there, in upper canyon. They have had it over 50 years.

It is a wonderful place.
