I remember Horace Clarke. And Bill Sudakis, and Jim Mason. Fritz Patterson and Mike Kekich (funny how they are always mentioned together). Good times.
My favorite player from that era was Bobby Murcer. I recall all the attention he received when he was awarded a $100,000 salary. He was silent and steady. A guy, like Thurman Munson, who loved the game and, most importantly, loved the fans. Good times indeed!
