Remember this Caddy for the common man (1988 Cimarron)? It was a (somewhat) souped up Chevy Cavalier!

It’s on the list.

And it was a terrible car. A Chevy Cavalier with power everything.

But as bad as it was... I don’t think it was all that ugly.

Hey, the Element is not ugly if you want a functional beast for hauling stuff. The problem is that its weight and poor aerodynamics means poor fuel economy. Otherwise I would buy one.

In the mid 70’s a friend of mine had a Gremlin, black on black. We put a highly modified AMC 401 in it, a Super T10 tranny and a narrowed Ford 9” rear end with 4.11, equipped with a Detroit locker. Short wheelbase resulting in great weight transfer made for the finest stop light drag racer ever. And talk about a sleeper, all the Camaro and Mustang folks never, ever told their buddys a Gremlin kicked their butts and then mopped the floor with what was left of them!!!! The thing was just awesome off the line.

My Gremlin was tough little car. I was hard on it. Layed it on its side in a ditch trying to see how fast I could drive in reverse. Turns out....not that fast. Old farmer pulled us out and it drove away just fine.

“What? No Trabant?”

Yeah, I wondered about that too.

The Germans used to tell a joke:

Do you know how to triple the value of a Trabie?

Fill up the gas tank!

Mercedes R Class
Kia Soul
Subaru Tribeca (previous verson)
Subaru Impreza/WRX
Mazda 3 (current version)
Mazda 5
Mazda CX-7

Mini Cooper
Chrysler Crossfire
PT Cruiser
Toyota Yaris
Porsche Cayenne
Audi TT
Audi Q7
VW New Beetle
Volvo C30

They were fun to drive. I had to learn to double clutch before I could learn to drive. This car was what my dad bought for my mom as part of the divorce settlement. I got it from her with a dead battery.

It’s a Pontiac Aztek. It’s the SUV version of the Toyota Pious, more ugly and angular, only not a hybrid.

I didn't know they made a Star Trek Work Bee in to a car! List is somewhat nuts, the Prowler, DeLorean and Enzo are hot!

My best friend in highschool had a family with a volkswagon bug, a pacer and a gremlin in the driveway. Would that be a trifecta?
