I watched the old V when it was new, in 1983 and 84. Taped both of them a long time ago, back in 89 or so. I liked V, as it showed that we tried to FIGHT against the visitors—instead of ‘accepting them”—and in the end—we won-sort of, anyway.

Anyway....I decided to give the new a chance, but I was not expecting too much. I expected a “modern agenda”, with all that cones with.

But I must admit that I am PLEASANTLY surprised!! Sure—the new one did have an “attractive”(to those on the show—NOT to me!!) woman as the lead “V”, but so did the old one(Jane Badler—who DID look pretty hot then.)However—I saw that there are MANY parallels with “V” and “O”. The “rigged’ press conference—”we don't want any questions that portray the “V”’s in a negative light”, -— Bringing “hope and change’, the “V” youth camps, “accept change as a good thing”, and compromise your principles for the “greater good”.

I must say....I AM IMPRESSED!! I would say that O could NOT like this!!
