Excellent questions, and excellent interpretations of your congressman’s answers. I have no doubt that you’re correct.

I'm pinging all *kinds* of people whose FReeper handles floated up into my sleep-deprived memory...
I think this thread is *that* good, your mileage may vary.
Apologies to all the Freepers I *didn't* ping.
There is a FReeper whose name is like 'muiyawah' which I tried several times to type the name for, and couldn't get to work. Would someone ping them, for me, please?
Cheers!

Perhaps it was a reply to questions you thought I should have asked.A certain large, American religious group is famous for this tactic.

I would have rephrased the questions, it’s a little hard to follow with the double negatives.
Instead of “Will you vote no on a ...? If not, why not?”
I would have asked “How will you vote on a ...? Why?”
Other than that, spot on!

Why does the goverment get to dictate to health care providers how much they will pay for a service, the insurance companies get to “negotiate” how much they will pay, and the consumer gets stuck with the over-inflated tab picking up the costs the other two (PLUS deadbeats who use services they won’t pay for)?
One price for all. End the scam that “Medicare/Medicade” is cost effective. They don’t pay the full costs, other people pick up the tab. I’ve already paid my contribution for this out of my paystub, don’t hit me with a backdoor tax anytime I go to the doctor.
