Seems like the ONE teacher might be practicing discrimination.
Just watched a Lowes commercial and the characters in the ad mentioned “Christmas”. “Christmas” also appeared in the background of a store camera shot.
Buy your kid several sweaters with Christmas trees on them and make them wear it to school, talk with other parents and have them do the same.
If they start complaining about that, switch to shirts with Nativity scenes on them.
That’s new for Lowe’s. In years past, they have avoided saying “Christmas.” There were actually complaints about them calling them “holiday trees” a couple of seasons ago and they rushed out “Christmas” signs. I guess you can’t complain if they are willing to correct the problem (though, it’s obscene that these stores’ whole year is made on Christmas sales and yet they have to be forced to acknowledge just what it is now).
One particularly troubling thing with Lowe’s and more and more stores is the fact that they rip the Christmas items out a couple of weeks before Christmas. I started seeing it last year and I know someone who works at Lowe’s who says they will be doing it again this year. Until recently, a good way to buy Christmas decorations was to wait for the after Christmas sales. There hardly are any stores that have them that late now. I could almost understand if the decorations weren’t selling and were taking up valuable space, but the Lowe’s in my area put them in an area that usually has junk in it the rest of the year.
Michaels rips their stuff out before the actual holiday (Halloween and Christmas), too.
