Every example I cited except perhaps Percy (which I think was just about a penis transplant, not transexual surgery) was created deliberately AS an exploitation film. Now Hollyweird pretends that it’s being “sensitive”. It’s still about selling tickets and making money.
I’ve never even heard of Percy...Probably lucky in that respect. (What about Victor/Victoria, though? And Doctor Jekyl and Sister Hyde? )
