I'm sorry, but that is despicable. It's not just illogical, unreasoned, and pointless; it's lacking any sense of simple human decency.

Judge Carter was the brave stalwart marine primed to save the day. Then he made a competent legal ruling consistent with obvious precedent, as he's supposed to, and he's the scum of the earth. That alone tells one all they need to know about the quality of thought behind this stuff.
