Off topic..but does anyone know how many of Doolittle’s men are still living. IIRC. the last survivor is supposed to open the bottle of brandy and toast his squadronmates

In addition, the president of Hennessy Company gave Jimmy Doolittle a bottle of 'Hennessy Very Special' cognac, vintage 1896, the year of Doolittle's birth. When there are only two raiders left, these two men will open the bottle and have a final toast to their departed comrades, Air Force officials said.

I was reading about Tom Griffing this morning after hearing him interviewed on the radio recently. Still alive, still very vital!

As of a few months ago there were nine remaining Doolittle Raiders still living. The last two who died, died within a day of eachother. Not just the last remaining Raider but the last two raiders will open the bottle to toast their comrades.
