Kill the RINOs. Save the Dumbocrats!!

I'd feel much better about it if the headline said that FR would never support Democrats--never!!

But we certainly have a segment of Freepers who believe RINOS are more dangerous than Democrats.

KILL MCCAIN=SAVE OBAMA!!

Cherry: “I imagine a world where Fred or Rudy of even Mitt was our prez”

Most of us imagined a world where Team Romney and Mitt did not savage Gov. Palin
and her handicapped child on the days leading up to Election 2008.

But given the despicable Romney, that was not to be.

The McCain/Palin ticket was up ++8 to 10 pts. in some polls, days prior to the election.
So rather than helping the GOP, poor loser “I am Myth” Romney and
TeamROMNEY decided …… to attack Gov. Palin (and her defenseless children) to throw Election2008.

"Frum was indeed a critic of Palin, calling her nomination a "huge mistake" during an October 13 (2008, weeks before the election) Early Show appearance."

David Frum: "Two of our most plausible candidates for president in 2012 are leading Mormons: Mitt Romney and Utah governor Jon Huntsman."

David Frum: "I have a lot of regard for Mitt Romney as a man and politician… I will support him without qualm."

Late in October, The American Spectator's The Prowler revealed:
"Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers…
have been involved in spreading anti-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election.
'Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012,'
says one former Romney aide…
'The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney.
"Some former Romney aides were behind the recent leaks to media, including CNN, that Governor Sarah Palin was a 'diva' and was going off message intentionally."

The Palmetto Scoop reported: "One of the first stories to hit the national airwaves was
the claim of a major internal strife between close McCain aides and the folks handling his running mate Sarah Palin."
"I’m told by very good sources that this was indeed the case and that a rift had developed, but it was between Palin’s people and the staffers brought on from the failed presidential campaign of former Gov. Mitt Romney, not McCain aides."
"The sources said nearly 80 percent of Romney’s former staff was absorbed by McCain and these individuals were responsible for what amounts to a premeditated, last-minute sabotage of Palin."
… aides loyal to Romney inside the McCain campaign, said The Scoop, reportedly saw
that Palin would be a serious contender for the Republican nomination in 2012 or 2016, which made her a threat to another presidential quest by Romney.

Erick Erickson, who organized Operation Leper, said:
"These staffers are now out trying to finish her off ….hoping it would ingratiate themselves with Mitt Romney."

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney

"Peeking Out From the McCain Wreckage: Mitt Romney"

"Someone's got to say it: IS MITT ROMNEY RESPONSIBLE FOR OBAMA'S VICTORY?"

"Vanity: Team Romney Sabotaged Palin and Continuing to Do So?"

"Romney Supporters Trashing Palin"

"Romney advisors sniping at Palin?"

Conservativegreatgrandma: We have a whole bunch of RAT lovers here on FR.

You know that is not true (except for the RomneyBOTs).

And given that Team Romney threw the election to Obama for Obama and Romney,
how is Pres_ _ent Obama working out for you?

Thanks for your concise & to the point post. Romney sucks & is NOT what we need at this juncture in Americas ailments. What we need is a REAL conservative leader with the balls (regardless of sex!) to do the things to put our nation on the road to recovery after this kenyan ass-hat is booted out. GO PALIN!!

You know that is not true (except for the RomneyBOTs).

It's more true than them calling me a RINO, etc. They're doing all they can to protect Democrats. They hate RINOs so much, they love anyone who will take them out--even RATS.

Let's see, isn't that saying that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Doesn't that make Democrats the friends of those here on FR who advocate getting rid of RINOS even if it means electing RATS?

Therefore there are many here on FR who love RATS and want to protect them.

Only a Mormon would ask that question.

He is a RINO and is pro-abortion under all circumstances.

Gosh, this reminds me that it’s been more than a week since I trashed Romney here. Too busy reading Sarah’s book, I suppose.

Kitties love to chase rats, you know.

Keep a couple as chew-toys, but keep them on a short leash, lest they post "false flag" stuff to discredit FR.

Cheers!

...I view him as yet another tired, old, Republican retread, like McCain but better looking.

The ONLY thing romneycare has over mcloon is better hair. And I'm not totally convinced that he grew that himself.

“Inside the beltway, Romney is seen as a classic front-runner who’s picked his issues wisely”

I agree with this assessment. He has picked his issues carefully and wisely. “I need conservative votes in the primaries. Let’s see, a conservative is pro-gun and anti-abortion, so I am too. A conservative’s fiscal stance is one that minimizes government influence, so that’s my stance...” “To beat Ted Kennedy, I must be more pro-gay, pro-choice, and anti-gun than he is perceived to be...”

He has failed to convince me that thee truly are his personal issues, though. Having looked up his senate campaign and gubernatorial campaigns, he picks his personal beliefs to win at the moment. It’s hard to see who he is and what he believes in until you see what he has actually DONE. And he can’t erase the facts that he disliked Reagan and his policies and followers.

As for Saving The Olympics and Ending Corruption, when you drill down into that issue, all you find is vague news releases claiming those things and other feats, with almost no detail as to just what he did other than donating a million or so of his own money. There is plenty of controversy there too, frosted over with vague Romney speeches about how nobody specifically banned Boy Scout participation, it was just a random set of rules that led to no uniformed Scout being seen on TV or any operations organized at the Boy Scout level.

“I think someone asked you what your previous screen name was, yet no answer.”

Noob answered and explained what was going on. To paraphrase, he just moved from Ct to Tx and his regular email accounts are hosed and can’t retrieve his forgotten password for his “old” screen name, so he created a new one to be able to converse here.

Mitt, McCain, et all have been on the rubber-chicken-DC-cocktail circuit for wayyyyyy tooooooo loooooooong.

What may had been “conservative” got watered down over the years in order to “fit in” with the DC/New York crowd.

No thanks.

it is hardly a secret that part of the hatred is because of Mormonism. I understand opposition because of RomneyCare, or even because of some comments during the campaign trail 30 years ago, but many arguments against him are “he or his sons did not go army” (like Fred T from Senate Centrist Coalition) and he is a Mormon (actual confession that the accusers are unamerican bigots).

Many arguments are just BS like “he did nominate liberals to court” (MA state law does not allow him to nominate outside of short list provided by state senate) or he is a board member in hotel chain that does offer porn in cable (would be illegal for him to act against shareholder interest in board).
