We saw the movie The Blind Side last night. It was wonderful and I encourage you to see it. One of the few movies I have been to that people sat through the credits and didn't move. Oh...bring some tissues.

I also saw it this weekend and a wonderful, wonderful movie.

I was thrilled to go, 2 with me... not so much. All there just raved about it. Makes everyone feel good and left you thinking about it for days. In a good way.

We saw it on Wednesday. My husband and my mom loved it. Take tissues, because you want to laugh and cry at the same time. One grown man I talked to said his eyes were “sweating” during the movie.

The casting was so good. Sandra Bullock shined in the movie. By the way, for those of you that don’t know, it is a true story. It is the kind of movie we conservatives are asking to be made. The theater was packed.

The book it’s based on is a pretty good read. I’m looking forward to seeing the movie to see how close they stuck to the real story.

“Sandra Bullock shined in the movie.”

Even from the ads it looks like she is giving the performance of a lifetime, and just playing a nice woman.

I really am going to see this, even if I have to go by myself (hubby hates to go to the movies, I think the last one we saw in the movies was Lord of the Rings) because you are right, these are the kinds of movies we always complain Hollywood doesn’t make, so we should support the pictures when they do.
