I am not working hard...just helping here and there..I am not doing any packing.
It took an hour to get her..I had her 3 times..but she was too strong ..I have a gash on my leg and bruises and scratches...She was terrified...My others were no problem at all.
In 2004, Josh Hamilton was an outstanding pro baseball prospect, but he was suspended because of drug abuse. Then one night Josh had a life-changing dream. He was fighting the devil. I had a stick, he said, and every time I hit him, hed fall and get back up. I hit him until I was exhausted, and he was still standing.
After that nightmare, Hamilton vowed to stay clean. The dream returned, but with an important difference. I would hit [the devil] and he would bounce back, said Josh. But this time Josh was not alone. He said, I turned my head and Jesus was battling alongside me. We kept fighting, and I was filled with strength. The devil didnt stand a chance.
The Bible says that the devil doesnt stand a chance because the Spirit, who is in us, is greater than he is (1 John 4:4). Christ came to destroy the works of the devil through His life, ministry, and sacrifice (3:8). At the cross, He disarmed and triumphed over the devil (Col. 1:13-14; 2:15).
Though defeated by the cross, the devil remains active in this world. But his final defeat is certain (Rev. 20:7-10). Until then, we take up the whole armor of God (Eph. 6:10-18), standing firm against him by Jesus blood and His Word. He doesnt stand a chance.
Meg! Watch that back!! Otherwise, happy packing! LOL

Good Morning Jaycee!!! Good Morning!!
I’m still working the living room over this morning.I’m doing the mantel, and my little village.
Yes I did have help...Hubby put it up and daughter helped with decorations and lights. I thought I would never succumb to a fake tree, but we purchased our tree 15 years ago and every year it looks nicer!
I know about the “ love it,dread it” part! I did start singing carols as I put on ornaments we have collected over 50 years!
God is Good!
Now please send Los Angeles your rain!
AHhhhhhhhhhhh Meg!!! I will show him your card when he comes down stairs. I think he is “ sleeping in” !! LOL He better hurry though as he has to take grandson to school. No rest for him, birthday or not!
Thanks for the card. Reminder to self, start taking graphic lessons on January 1st!
Smokey sounds like our two cats, Lucy and April , after Thanksgiving. They were so spooked! April hid under our bed and would NOT come out!
I don’t blame her! LOL... I wanted to crawl under there too with so many in the house! LOL
You are welcome!
I am doing no packing..just washing and drying. I really did a number on my back.
I love this, yorkie.
I just talked to my brother in Georgia and he says its raining hard and side-ways down there! Ours is a slow rain!
Wish you had some of my brother’s rain!
I know what you mean about your ornament collection. I love putting on ornaments. When I reach for each one, I remember something sweet. It is fun! Sometimes memories flood back and brings a tear, but I don’t let it get to me anymore. I just try to have a happy time doing it!
Great reminder this morning Mayor!
