Far from it, she was a great gal, very smart, very sexy, but with this single flaw which I could not handle. She would get up at 4 am and drink a whole fifth of vodka, she could probably drink any three people I know under the table. She was probably one of those alcoholics who has about twice the legal limit in her bloodstream at all times and just lives their whole life that way. Ultimately, she turned herself around very well, but she simply could not live in Los Angeles with all the hoo-hah, and moved back her home town and completely quit drinking.
My sister would drink non-stop all day. Vodka I think. Would go through a bottle a day. Two or three times she got DUI with over .30 She got sober for 7 years, took some Nyquil for a cold, and got back to a bottle a day in a few days.
Wonderful, loving gal - even when drunk. Died on her 60th birthday from the drinking and the smoking. Each time she would go to the hospital from the booze her doctor would tell her “one more time like this and you won’t make it”. I can’t remember how many times they said that! Sad to see such a wasted life.
It is nice to get an occasional good news outcome.
