That is a serious allegation so it must be true.
Maybe Perky will have to dust off her resume.

If Comcast starts jacking up the price of the GE/Universal channels, I hope programmers like Dish Network tell them “Hell no” and dump them all.

Depending on their future actions, I might get to start buying GE products again. :-)
I wonder how Comcast would handle the liberalism at NBC? Stay the course, or radically change it to be moderate like Fox, or give us a real conservative network?

Hm.... this should mean that MSNBC gets spun down soon.Doubt it. Most people probably won't notice a difference except on their monthly cable or satellite bill.

I say dump Comcast and pick up VERIZON FIOS.(or similar) That’s what I did. It’s a lot cheaper.

Although one thing i do know, new bosses very often do a massive clearout as well as dump crap rated performers.
So most of MSNBC ought to be out on their butts soon.

No, Comcast will probably spin down MSNBC because there’s no reason to have both MSNBC and CNBC.
Especially given the ratings.

Comcast and Verizon don’t serve this area. My FIOS with Knology is as fast as Verizon.

Does anyone know what GE paid for NBC in the first place and the sales price now? I wonder if they made a profit on the deal.

They’re spinning down both of them. Under terms of the arrangement GE would spin off NBC Universal into a separate company that would be 51 percent controlled by Comcast and 49 percent GE.
